Experience informs everything.
I love creating, inspiring and connecting with people. I’m a creative editor and versatile freelancer obsessed with relationships, women, travel and all things lifestyle. I front viral video and piece together essays that have gotten over a million views. I’ve anchored CBS News to coming up with listicles for NYLON.com as well as doing Snapchat and Instagram takeovers for Matador Network. I’ve produced shows, conceptualized branded content and written broadcast scripts. An award-winning journalist, I ate an apple a day for a year as an experiment. As a millenial, I wrote and narrated a digital memoir about travel as therapy and the quarter-life crisis. A blogger and content manager, I’ve covered everything from politics at the White House to the Hello Kitty Convention on multiple platforms. I’ve interviewed everyone from Larry King to countless men on the street. In addition, I like to volunteer/mentor, promote wellness and facilitate creativity workshops as a meditation/yoga teacher.
Originally from Guam, I’m currently based in New York City. Appreciate you taking a look at my breadth and depth of work. More about.me/konakafe.
